Step Three · Selling the Fundraiser

• Give each participant the amount of products they need to sell to achieve the entire groups goal.
• Give them the time frame that it should be accomplished in.
• Give detailed instructions on the way to sell the fundraising products and how to collect the money.
• A check made out to the group or the money should be collected for the fundraising item.
• A receipt for that order should be given and the person should be informed that they would receive the product within 7 to 10 days after the campaign has ended. (your group may want to develop this project like their own business for the educational experience of economics)
• The group meets and discusses the results. Then the orders are turned over to the designated person in charge.

It will be very helpful for an individual class to create a chart to show the results of any other school or class they are competing against. The updates for the amount of watts or pollutants reduced and the overall goal of eliminating the amount of energy used by one American nuclear reactor is a great way for a group to be very creative in designing their particular green campaign.
