Why don't you just give the schools the money directly?
We are extremely focused on a very specific platform to build the green movement. The entire structure of Johnny GreenSeed is designed to not get lost in the sea of environmental actions. By staying simple and focused, we can build upon a stepping stone that better allows us to build a coherent foundation for accelerating the green movement. A way to give it a face.
Our donation of the specific green products is our way of staying focused for a very large powerful action that showcases the potential Americans and the rest of the world have in accelerating the green movement. The entire concept was founded on the fact that the disregard for the environment from many years ago is just now upon us. We can not stop for many years what we are starting to experience (acid rain, increasing health complications, undrinkable water, etc). We are taking all our cue's from Johnny AppleSeed. we are staying very simple, planting the seeds, and hoping you water them. From there, all we can hope is that it will grow.
What is a hybrid alternative energy system?
A Hybrid energy system combines the use of two or more alternative power sources - such as solar and wind for example.
The advantage of a hybrid system is that when one power source is at low levels the other source is usually at higher levels. On a cloudy, windy day when solar panels are producing lower levels a wind generator may be producing a lot of energy. In contrast, on a bright cloudless day the solar panels will likely out-produce the wind generator.
Johnny GreenSeed utilizes green insulation, window treatments and energy efficient lighting to help reduce a facility's demand for power to it's lowest level while strongly emphasizing clean, free flowing air quality.
Once the facility is at its peak energy efficiency, we will then install geothermal systems for heating and cooling that are not only highly efficient but earth friendly as well!
Johnny GreenSeed will determine the best combination of available alternatives in order to realize the advantages of the most cost effective hybrid alternative energy systems. Our goal is to create a property or building that is an energy efficient as possible. By doing this, we minimize the cost for the the more expensive solar and wind systems.
